  I have been seeing Dr. Anna Frisch for many years. I cannot be more happy with my experience with her and the practice. She is busy but always takes her time with me and explains everything in detail that I can understand. The medical community is lucky to have a physician like Dr. Frisch.

  I chose to visit this office because it advertises a dedication to customer service and testing/scanning all in one place. No need to visit a lab which is a convenience that made it worth driving 40 minutes from my home. Like many other people, I have many responsibilities and am short on time. I mentioned on the phone when making my appt. that I was interested in getting an ultrasound of my thyroid at the initial consultation to assess damage and was assured that is what they do. Since my insurance has a yearly deductible, I paid over $160 out-of-pocket for my intial consultation with Dr. Irizarry. He was running 15 minutes late to see me (typical for a doctor's office), and started the consult by asking me what I hoped to get out of the consult. I told him I had just been diagnosed with Hashimoto's, and even though many of my lab results showed adequate thyroid function, I was interested in a sonogram to establish baseline damage. I also let him know I was reading a book on Hashimoto's to better understand the disease (it is a New York Times bestseller, best-selling book on the disease. Dr. Irizarry had not read it). He jumped right into drawing pictures explaining Hashimoto's disease (info I already knew and understood in much more detail from my own research), but I patiently waited for him to finish. This took about 15 minutes. He asked me if I had questions, I asked if we were going to do the sonogram. He told me that he was running late and that his lab tech was not in that afternoon so a sonogram would not be possible that visit. He made the excuse that this is why he asked me at the beginning of the meeting what I had wanted to acheive with the consult. Crazy! Even thought I had clearly requested a sonogram at the start, he said I should have asked for the sonogram at the beginning.
  
  I drove 40 minutes to go to this 1-stop-shop medical office for thyroid care. I paid $160+ dollars for information I already knew, did not get the service I had asked for both when I made the appointment and at the beginning of my visit with the doctor. This was both a waste of my money and an afternoon's worth of my time. I will not be returning.
